Compatibility

This mount is manufactured according to the NATO STANAG 2324 / MIL-STD-1913 standard (Picatinny). This means it is compatible with all standard Picatinny mounts, rings, and accessories – regardless of the manufacturer.

The Picatinny standard ensures that you can freely combine rails, mounts, and optics from different manufacturers. This gives you the flexibility to upgrade or change your scope without changing the mount.

Picatinny vs. Weaver:

Picatinny and Weaver are similar but not the same. The difference lies in the recoil slots:
• Picatinny: Slots are 5.23 mm wide with a center-to-center distance of 10.01 mm (fixed standard)
• Weaver: Slots are 4.57 mm wide with variable spacing (no fixed standard)

A Weaver mount can often be mounted on a Picatinny rail because the Weaver lug is narrower than the Picatinny slot. However, a Picatinny mount will NOT fit on a Weaver rail – the lug is too wide.

This mount is Picatinny and fits all rails manufactured according to MIL-STD-1913 / STANAG 2324.

Material

This mount is made from 7075-T6 aluminum – the same alloy used in military equipment, aircraft structures, and high-end climbing gear. 7075-T6 has a strength-to-weight ratio almost twice that of steel and is the preferred material for many professional shooters.

For the vast majority of hunters and shooters, 7075-T6 aluminum is at least as good as steel. The material is lighter, does not corrode, and will last for decades of use under normal conditions.

Surface treatment

This assembly is anodised. Anodising creates a protective oxide layer on the aluminium surface, providing good corrosion protection and a durable finish. Anodised products can withstand daily use and are resistant to scratches and wear.

Hard anodising (Type III) provides a thicker and harder layer than standard anodising and is typically used on products subjected to extra heavy wear.

Diameter

These rings have an internal diameter of 40 mm and are suitable for scopes with 40 mm tubes.

Always check your scope's tube diameter before purchasing – it can be found in the scope's specifications or easily measured with a caliper.

Mounting

Installation is simple. Attach the rings to the Picatinny rail, place the scope in the lower ring halves, then tighten the upper halves.

Manufacturer's recommendation:
• Torque for ring screws (top, M3.5): 1.8–2.0 Nm
• Torque for rail attachment (M4): 2.0–2.5 Nm
• Ensure the scope is level and has correct eye relief before final tightening

A torque wrench is necessary for correct installation. Overtightening can damage the scope tube.
